"Tallest of the Prairie" We came across this pinyon pine tree (nee bush) when leaving Meteor Crater near Winslow, AZ. The sun had just peeked through a small break in the cloud layer lighting it up nicely and I was struck by this bush being the tallest plant around the area (at around 5.5 feet/1.7m). _
