Straddling the Border

Terns straddling the state line (Virginia on the left, North Carolina on the right). These pilings help manage herds of mustangs.

Apparently, some mustangs like standing at the water's edge watching the waves roll in to the beach. This one was spotted north of Corolla, North Carolina.
